Our Direct to Garment (DTG) printing services use a specialized inkjet printer which applies the ink colors of the artwork directly onto the t-shirt. It works similar to how your inkjet printer at home works except it prints on a t-shirt instead of paper. Since DTG printing uses specialty water-based inks which are absorbed by the fibers of the garment, it creates a soft hand feel to the design that is unmatched with standard screen printing.

When DTG printing with white ink in your design the garment will need to go through a pre-treatment process which helps white ink bond to the apparel and achieve bright vibrant colors. This pre-treatment process does have an additional expense, however, it will allow you to print bold and bright colors direct to dark garments.
