Please use the following resources to prepare your artwork files for print. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Prepare Your Art
If you choose to prepare your own artwork, it should be created in an industry standard program like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or CorelDraw. If you choose to use another design program please save your artwork in vector (.eps) format. Also, please size your artwork to the dimensions you would like it to appear.
High Resolution vs. Low Resolution Artwork
All artwork files must in Vector format or have a resolution of 300 dpi or better. If your artwork is not 300 dpi, you cannot manually increase the resolution of the file. This is called “upsampling” and will result in a blurry image.
Choose Screen Size
If you’re screen printing your artwork you must choose from Standard printing dimensions, Jumbo, All-over, or a 4″x4″Left Chest placement.
NOTE: The above depiction of screen sizes is based off of a medium-sized t-shirt.
Convert Your Text To Outlines
You must convert the text in your artwork to outlines for it to be able to be printed.
Size Your Design
We’ve provided templates of some of our most popular products, which you can use you to mock up your artwork and gain an idea of how it will appear once printed. Go to the Templates page, download the appropriate template then place your artwork, and size how you would like it to appear.
Artwork For All Other Printing Services
Please take into consideration the Caution, Trim and Bleed areas when preparing artwork for all other printing services including business cards, banners, and other signage.
Accepted File Types
We accept the following file types: .eps, .ai, .cdr, .pdf, .psd, .png, .jpg. We prefer .eps, .ai or .cdr files because vector art can be scaled without affecting print quality. Secondly we prefer .pdf or .psd files. Finally you can provide your artwork as .png or .jpg, however all artwork other than vector must have a resolution of 300 dpi or better to qualify as acceptable for printing.
